Christmas Play 2017
Each year, the Morf’d Christmas program is a great time of the church family coming together to celebrate our Savior while enjoying our BWC children ministering to us through song, joy, laughter, and tears.
We’ve witnessed many of our young people, that have participated in these productions in years past, go on to build upon their experiences and the talents and abilities that were revealed during these times. Yes, they’re cute up there and we laugh and cry, but these are powerful opportunities for our kids to experience ministry. They may be nervous and even have a bit of stage fright at times, but you will help them and watch them overcome, and the blessing their involvement will be to your child and others is undeniable.
We want this to be a choice by you and your child to participate in the Christmas Play. We don't want your child to feel forced by us in anyway. This is where we need your help so keep reading!
The majority of rehearsals will be conducted during the Sunday morning worship services, after the Morf’d bible study and life instruction. If you and/or your child chooses to not be a part of the play they can still come and be a part of Morf'd Kid's Church. We will continue with small groups for those who will not be practicing for the play. So if you are visiting or have friends visiting, there will still be things for the kids to do and they not feel left out during the play practice!
For those who will be participating, there will also be a couple Saturday rehearsals in December in the Main Auditorium for the actors and soloists only, and one rehearsal the Saturday before the play for everyone involved. Those practices are tentatively scheduled for:
December 2nd 10am-12pm
December 9th 1-3pm
December 16th 10am-12pm
If you wish for your child/children to participate in this production, it is imperative that you COMPLETE AND RETURN this form. Only children with completed permission forms will have the opportunity to begin rehearsals.
The play will be on a Sunday night December 17th at 6pm.
