We are saved from the spiritual enemy, from bondage to guilt and shame caused by sin, from ourself, from wrath to grace.
A Christian isn’t perfect, but they are in a process that ends in perfection.
God has given us eternal comfort and hope so that we can have that same comfort and strength in everything we do and say.
God works for you, in you and through you.
We emulate Christ when we serve the body of Christ and the community he's placed us in.
We are to live at peace with one another expressing the peace that comes from the Father.
Our spiritual enemy seeks to sow fear and anger in order to reap a harvest of discord through hurt feelings, unforgiveness, bitterness and selfish ambition.
We’re responsible for how we respond to people who hurt or do wrong toward us. Our response is to be like Christ and let the fruit of the Spirit take over.
We have to make a choice to rejoice in every circumstance and situation. Because Jesus wept we can rejoice. Because Jesus bears our sorrows, we can experience his joy.
Prayer isn’t just a part of your schedule; it’s recognizing God’s constant presence. It’s an attitude of the heart not just an activity to have.
You may not be able to give thanks for everything but you can give thanks in everything.
