Affliction is a part of life whether you choose to follow Christ or not. The difference is, with Christ, we have his Holy Spirit to strengthen us through the affliction.
Externally in life there may be affliction but because of Christ internally there is joy.
We believe God is in control of history, he has a plan for the end and he walks with us in the meantime to reflect his kingdom on earth.
Does the conduct of your life match the testimony of your lips to those around you who need to not only hear the good news, but also see it lived out in real life?
As opposition around you gets harder, your obedience should go deeper. What’s coming against you to break you is actually building you.
The only thing we can take with us in eternity are the people we share the gospel with.
Not only can we have joy on the inside because of Christ and the power of his Holy Spirit, but we can be transformed from the inside out because of Christ and the power of his Holy Spirit.
Your godly life can open an opportunity for the presentation of the Gospel. The Gospel must be lived out and spoken by you, so that it can be listened to, received, and believed by others.
Until Christ returns, we work to bring his kingdom and his will to earth, and we wait with hope.
Christ conquered death so you could live. He endured wrath so you could receive grace. He was separated from the Father so you could be adopted by Him.
