  • We all too often create a picture of God in our minds that reflects our fallen nature. God is not created in our image.

  • God’s blessing came before man’s sin.

  • The enemy’s goal from the get go was to undermine the goodness of God.

  • “If we doubt the goodness of God then the rest of our theology is a house of cards.” Mark Batterson

  • God formed us, sin deformed us, but through Christ we can be transformed.

  • God's will for you is good. It always has been.

  • Through Christ, God covers us, delivers us, and brings fulfillment to our life.

  • The knowledge of and existence of evil does not negate the goodness of God.

  • We can be aware of the goodness of God even when we don’t see good around us.

  • When you are aware of the faithfulness of God you will understand the goodness of God.

  • Sometimes we don’t realize God's all we need until He’s all we have.

  • “I have learned to kiss the wave that throws me against the Rock of Ages.” Charles Spurgeon

  • Weakness can be an advantage because it leads us to dependence on God.

  • The pain, the hurt, the suffering, the evil you know about will cause you to forget the good. So sometimes you have to call to mind God's goodness.

  • God’s goodness is not for one day, or the sweet by and by. God’s goodness is for today.

  • Call to mind what Christ has done for you on the cross, and that his grave is empty.
