Summer Playlist 2025 Week 4
Sharable notes for the July 6, 2025 message.
The Psalms are not just the Psalms of the people of Israel, they are the Psalms of the people of God.
When we wake up every morning with the Lord it brings joy to our Father.
When you look through the Psalms, look to see how they point to Christ; what he’s done for you and who He is to you.
To hunger and thirst for the Lord is to hunger and thirst for his word.
Jesus taught his disciples that what was written in Scripture, including the Psalms, pointed to him. - Luke 24:44-48

Psalm 40:1 - John 10:14
Psalm 40:2 - John 16:33, Matthew 7:24, and Psalm 23
Psalm 40:3 - Revelation 5:9
Psalm 40:4 - John 14:1 and Psalm 115
Psalm 40:5 - John 21:25
Psalm 40:6 - Psalm 51:16-17 and John 10:11
Psalm 40:7 - John 5:39
Psalm 40:8 - Matthew 5:17
Psalm 40:9-10 - Matthew 7:7
Psalm 40:11-17 - Mark 15:34 and Psalm 22
