  • Your waiting doesn’t mean that God has forgotten you, or that you’re doing something wrong.

  • There are often periods where we have to persist in prayer and trust in God's timing.

  • Be aware that sometimes God's answer may not come how we expected, or look how we thought it would look.

  • God help us to not just speak our prayers, but to listen. Are we listening for God to speak, for the Holy Spirit to lead? Are we paying attention when he does?

  • We often think we’re helpless while we’re waiting, but that doesn’t mean we’re hopeless or hapless so there’s no need to be passive.

  • We can be grateful for God's presence in the present, and expectant of his answer being the promise we need fulfilled.

  • To walk by the Spirit means to consciously depend on Him for everything.

  • When you live in the power of the Holy Spirit, your life is marked by hope.

  • Religious traditions cannot grow greater than the one to whom the traditions point to. When they do, that’s when we become religious and forget what the religion is about.

  • We can’t be so consumed by the customs that we miss the call.

  • What we most need is the presence of God through a relationship with Jesus Christ directed by the Holy Spirit.

  • St Augustine said, “Our hearts are restless until they find their rest in Christ.”

  • Christ is going to cut through your pride and challenge the control you want to have over your life. He will call for you to surrender the things that you have put at the forefront of your life.
