• God didn’t create you to do this life without him, but that’s all too often what we try to do. We try to do life our way, take our thoughts and declare them as our truth, and think we’re living the life.

• Jesus' claims are exclusive but he is exclusively inclusive. There are many ways to discover Jesus, but Jesus is the only way to the Father.

• The truth about our opinions and feelings is that they don’t change the truth about who God is.

• Jesus wants us to understand that the fullness of life is not found in the satisfaction of our temporal appetites. The fullness of life is found only in him.

• Jesus endured the cross to make a way for you. He scorned the shame of sin and the lie it brings with the truth of his word. He defeated death so that we could truly live - now and in eternity.
