Evidential and experiential knowledge allows you to believe even when you haven’t seen, or even when you don’t feel.
Thomas and the other disciples got a privileged view and believed. We still have a providential opportunity to believe.
We know there is something in this life worth believing in, worth devoting ourselves to.
Jesus’ answer to Thomas is not so much explanation. It's revelation.
Sometimes the most faith-filled act you can do is to just keep showing up. Jesus can suddenly show up with the revelation that you need.
Christianity did not begin with people who simply believed something. It began with people who had experiential and evidential knowledge of something.
The resurrection was not a legend added over time, it was the core of the message.
Thomas had a faith that was willing to die for Christ. Is your faith willing to live for him?
Either we believe or we deny.
