Secret Sisters

bwccamden

Secret Sisters is a ministry between you and another woman in our church family. The program is yearlong from March to February. You become her silent prayer partner and secret encourager for a year.  She does not know who you are, but she will know you are there praying for her and her needs.  The purpose of this ministry is to encourage, support, and edify other sisters in Christ, in addition to getting to know one another.

There are many ways of encouraging or letting your Secret Sister know you are thinking of her.  Some examples would be a nice card or a small gift.  Although there are no set guidelines as to how many times during this year to contact your Secret Sister, it is suggested that you contact her for her birthday and any other special occasions.  Please note that if you choose to send a gift, use modesty in regards to the amount of the gift.  At the end of the year, there is a small get together to reveal Secret Sisters.

Secret Sister enrollment is closed for this year but will reopen at the beginning of 2018.

"Entrusted" Bible Study

bwccamden

We were never meant to take this journey of faith alone or in secret. God has entrusted us with the great and mighty gift of the gospel, something too precious and life-giving to keep to ourselves.

In this 6-session Bible study, Beth will encourage you to guard what God has entrusted to you, further His kingdom by sharing Christ with others, and pour into future generations just as Paul once mentored Timothy. Because in this journey of joy and hardship, we need each other to stay the course and live lives of faithfulness.

This study starts February 15, and will meet on Wednesday's from 10a-12p. There will be a small cost for the study guide.

Space is limited so make sure you sign up today!

Anywhere Faith Women's Bible Study

bwccamden

This study isn’t so much about obedience as it is about a dialogue with God. It's also not about being called to a far off country or leaving your full time job for ministry. It’s about what we say when God calls us every day in our homes, relationships, workplaces, community and ministries. Can He send us ‘Anywhere’?

Do we tell Him we’re not ready? We’re afraid?  We’re not good enough?  We’re too old or too young or too busy or too insufficient? Or do we say, “Yes, Lord.  I’ll follow you anywhere….”?  Or, as Mary said:

I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled
— Luke 1:38 NIV

The Anywhere Faith Bible Study will be meeting every other Monday night from February 6th - April 10th at 6:30pm. The group will meet in Lugoff near Lugoff Elgin High School. If you are interested in participating, sign up below and we will send you more details.

Treasured Vessels on January 29th!

bwccamden

There's so much in life that can bring discouragement: negative comments on social media, feelings that come from the magazines we read or the television shows we watch, the comparison traps we live in within our minds, so on and so on...

God doesn't desire for us to live in this trap. We are His creation and we are fearfully and wonderfully made! We would love to invite you to attend our next Treasured Vessels. This is a great time of encouragement for ladies to refocus their attention on who God says they are, not where culture would take us.

Our next Treasured Vessels will be taking place on January 29th at 6pm. We will be meeting in the Hub of the Education Building on BWC's campus. We'll start with some time to simply hang out and connect with each other, then we'll hear a powerful story of God's grace from one of our ladies.

Join us January 29th at 6pm!

9:00am-12:00pm
Free Event

There will be a love offering received during the conference

Please RSVP by clicking here

Grab a friend and join us for a morning together as we worship, fellowship, and revive our hearts with our special guest Denise Hildreth Jones. This is a FREE event, but we would like to know how many will be attending as there will be a light brunch provided. So please follow this link to register for free and RSVP.

Denise Hildreth’s novels have moved her readers to tears and laughter as they stay up all night just to finish the last page. “I’m just a southern girl from South Carolina who knows crazy people, the south, and rigged beauty pageants. So, I thought I’d write a book about them. I didn’t even know I could write fiction. Come to find out people have fallen in love with that crazy Savannah from Savannah and I’ve fallen in love with telling stories.”

*We have limited spots available for childcare during this event (ages 1-8 years old). This is for those that can not or do not have childcare capability. They will be available first come first serve. Make sure to let us know when registering.
