Kershaw County School Ministries
Kershaw County School Ministries has the opportunity through a legislature that was passed called Released Time to be able to host elective classes off campus of a school during the school day. Parents sign a permission slip allowing their child to leave campus for the class.
School Ministries then transports students from the school on buses to a host site where they are taught a curriculum that centers around Biblical principles that point directly to the Gospel.
For School Ministries to be effective they need volunteer support. Roles that would be needed are bus drives (possible cdl needed), assistants to help load and unload buses, ride buses and be in class rooms, and then teachers who can use the curriculum.
Below is more information regarding School Time Ministries if you are interested in volunteering. You can also check the state website for more information.
