A thematic view throughout Job is that trouble reveals trust.
We can’t see life from God’s perspective, but despite that we continue to trust.
We don’t worship God because life is good. We worship God because He is good.
If our faith is in a God that we believe is all powerful, all knowing and forever able then no matter the circumstance we worship Him.
Don't focus on the trouble, focus on the one who's triumphed.
To be still and know is not so much about having a quiet time, which we should have, as it is about victory.
I can be still because I trust the one who’s in control.
Standing steadfast during the suffering is a show of faith. It says I love God, not what God can do for me.
Your spiritual adversary will use suffering to drive you away from God, but God will work through it to draw you closer to Him.
