Scriptures used: Proverbs 31:10-31; James 1:5; Ruth 3:11; Ephesians 6:10; 2 Corinthians 12:9-10; Colossians 3:23
We study the word of God not just so we might know more about the Word of God but so that we might live by the word of God.
The virtuous woman in Proverbs 31 comes from the Hebrew - "Eshet Chayil” - meaning strength, might, power, or valor
We don’t have to be strong on our own or in our power. We can be strong in the Lord and in His might.
The Proverbs 31 woman is a woman of great Work Ethic:
V. 13 “she works with eager hands”
V. 14-15 “She brings food from afar. She gets up while it is still dark; she provides food for her family and portions for her servant girls.
V. 17 “She sets about her work vigorously”
V. 22 “She makes coverings for her bed and linen garments.”
V. 27 “She does not eat the bread of idleness”
The Proverbs 31 woman is one who helps to Create Health & Wealth:
V. 16 “She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.”
V. 18 “Her trading is profitable”
V. 24 “She makes linen garments and sells them”
