You’re only as secure as what you put your trust in.
When your faith is in something finite like money, your health, a relationship, politics, then you’re always going to be anxious or worried that something or someone is going to take those things away from you.
Moses has an encounter with God, the one who shows him his worth, gives him his meaning and secures his future.
When you choose to put your faith in the one who is unshakeable, ever present, faithful, trustworthy, unchanging, full of love, grace and mercy then you’ll find life, peace, direction, meaning.
When we make the choice to surrender our life to the Great I Am then that means we have to walk away from some things.
The ways of God carry more value and have far greater return on investment than the ways of the world.
Our enemy distracts us with lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life. It’s when we are seeking to feel some way, have some things or be somebody outside of Christ and our complete trust in Him.
We shouldn’t settle for fleeting pleasures when we’re offered eternal ones in Christ Jesus.
When God delivers you out of something he delivers you to something.
Often the most accurate test of our faith is not how we respond when it’s evident that God is there, but how we respond when it’s not.
What the Red Sea was for the Israelites, the cross and the resurrection is for us.
Don’t just focus on what you’re saved from, walk now in what you’ve been saved to.
The enemy will continue to distract you and try to detract you, but remember he is defeated so you can live to display God’s glory.
