May 2017 Kid's Church

We all want our children to show determination and never give up, but at times it can be difficult to sit back and watch them learn this on their own. In an effort to keep things moving, at times, we can do too much for our children. It’s easy to justify it in the moment because we are faster and we let convenience dictate our actions. Ultimately though, sowing opportunities for determination now will reap a beautiful harvest as they grow older. Allow your child to feel the tension when something doesn’t come easy and encourage them to push through it this month. Let’s show them that with God’s help they can tackle anything and finish what they have started!

We want to help with this. That's why this month we are learning in Kid's church about determination: deciding it's worth it to finish what you started. Below you'll discover what we're talking about each week, and you'll also see a few downloadable resources that you can use to help continue the conversation at home with your kids!
