Ladies, we know there are many of you who enjoy a good book. We thought, why not enjoy the book with someone else, not just by yourself. We can get more out of something when we're in community than we can alone.
Join us for Lit & Lattes Book Club which meets monthly on the second Wednesday of each month in the Hub. You'll be able to enjoy a nice cup of coffee and a good book together with other ladies.

The first Sunday of every month we offer a Men's Breakfast here at the church. This is a great time for men to come together and make connections while feeding their belly and their soul. Men's breakfasts are held in the Fellowship Hall and start at 8:00am. If you would like to be added to our email list and continue to get information about Men of Valor then please fill out the form below.
“Be seen but not heard." That's what we were taught as kids. Somehow though, things have changed, and now, it’s more common for parents to “be seen but not heard.”
What has happened to shift the power from parents to children? In Parents Rising: 8 Strategies for Raising Kids Who Love God, Respect Authority, and Value What’s Right, you’ll learn how to lead in your home, making both you and your children much happier.
Filled with practical ideas, funny stories, and Biblical truth, you will become a more confident and effective parent after going through Parents Rising.
Pastor Javin and his wife Jenny will be facilitating this group that will meet through the fall/winter of this year. It will be an eight week journey that will meet on the following Sunday nights in the Hub of the Education Building from 6pm-8pm: 9/15, 9/29, 10/13, 10/27, 11/24, 12/1, 12/8, 12/15. No matter your stage of parenting, they would love to have you join them in this journey! Sign up below to take part.
Our Prayer Covering Group creates an opportunity for those participating to build encouraging relationships with one another, teach intercessory prayer, and be an outreach of BWC to the community and beyond. It goes beyond being a group to being a ministry.
We use our time to crochet, knit, and/or quilt lap size coverings for anyone, regardless of age, who may have a need. There may be a need such as a loss of spouse, sibling or child, medical issues such as cancer, sickness, long-term illness, surgery, etc. We also have begun making scarves for the homeless to have during the cold winter months.
Wherever a need may be that someone could benefit from knowing they are covered in prayer, our group will respond. As we create these coverings, we pray for the future recipient.
There are no expectations as far as time you are required to commit. You do it as it fits your schedule. Sometimes we have people who make a covering or two a week and others who complete one every few months or per year.
We would love to have anyone who has a desire to pray on behalf of others, loves to crochet, knit, and/or quilt, and has time to give. If you are interested please fill out the form below. We will supply all materials. If you want to participate and do not know how to crochet, we are willing to teach you!
A father of someone in our church family was having health issues that would cause them to have extreme pain. He was only getting sleep for about 60-90 minutes at a time. One night while having trouble sleeping, his wife covered him with the prayer blanket he had received from our group. He immediately fell asleep and slept for 4 1/2 hours.
There's nothing magical about the blanket, but the prayers that have been prayed for the individual and that are covering him brought comfort.
Fresh air, the open road and God's creation. It's what draws all bike lovers. If you love to ride motorcycles then we invite you to be a part of Truth Riders. Connect with others in our church who love to ride. You may also enjoy being a part of a local chapter of the Christian Motorcycle Association that our motorcycle enthusiasts have partnered with. For more information about this group you can check their website.
If you would like to connect with some of our motorcyclists here at BWC then fill out the form below and we'll have someone get in touch with you.
