Christmas in July

Christmas in July.png

Here at BWC it’s Christmas in July! Women of Worth is sponsoring this event to collect shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. You can see more information about Operation Christmas Child and packing a box through the videos below. If every family would commit to doing one box we would easily meet our goal of 150 boxes.

We are asking you to help us spread the word and then bring your boxes in by July 28th.

Packing your shoebox

  • Get a box from the church. If we run out, don’t fret, you can pack an average size cardboard or plastic shoebox.

  • Choose one gender for your box. If you want to do both boy and girl, pack two different boxes. Also choose an age for your child: 2-4, 5-9, 10-14.

  • Select a medium to large “wow” item such as a soccer ball with pump or stuffed animal, then fill with other fun toys, hygiene items, and school supplies. Click here for more suggested items.

  • Pray over your box.

  • Include a $9 check to Bethel Worship Center to pay for shipping and processing, or click here to print your own label, paste on top of box (MAKE SURE TO DO THAT), and then follow your box to see where it is sent.

  • Drop off at church by July 28th. You can bring to lobby of auditorium on a Sunday morning or you can drop off at church office during the week.

What not to do

  • Do not pack candy; toothpaste; gum; used or damaged items; war-related items such as toy guns, knives, or military figures; chocolate or food; seeds; fruit rolls or other fruit snacks; drink mixes (powdered or liquid); liquids or lotions; medications or vitamins; breakable items such as snow globes or glass containers; aerosol cans. Click here if you have a question about an item.

  • Do not wrap your box sealed. If using a Samaritan’s Purse box there’s no need to wrap at all. If you are using another box and you want to wrap, please wrap the lid and the box separately so that the box can still be opened without unwrapping.

Unashamed Summer

we're gonna be alright.png

Summertime is not a time to take a vacation from Unashamed Youth! We keep things rockin all through the summer.

Sunday nights rotate our Summer Hangouts and our UN Services. The only Sunday night we will miss is July 7th. The summer will culminate with a Saturday night Fireflies game (space limited) and a Back to School Bash to end our Summer Hangouts on August 18th.

Summer Hangouts are nights of fun competition. You can click here for more details about these nights. Rising 6th graders are invited to participate on these nights to ease in to Unashamed Youth.
Hangout Sundays - 6/9, 6/23, 7/21, 8/4 & 8/18

UN Services are nights of fun worshiping our Savior. Just like all through the year, we spend some time worshiping together and hearing from Pastor Caleb. Every UN service starts with a game and then transitions.
UN Sundays - 6/2, 6/16, 6/30, 7/14, 7/28, 8/11

Note: After the summer Unashamed keeps going! We will pick up rotating UN Services and U-Groups (our small groups for youth) every Sunday night. These will be open for all Middle School and High School students.

So don’t miss out this summer! Every summer is the Summer of Unashamed!

Baby Dedication

We believe it to be an act of devotion before God for the parent to respond in dedication over the gift God has given them. This is the parent's show of appreciation to God for giving them the gift of this child, and their proclamation to raise their child with biblical direction.
